Over two months ago, Auxiliarist Ann Beecher started the registration process, in he own home, and the pace never slowed down. Ann advertised for the conference and opened up registration. Monies had to be sorted, credit cards approved and dinner items had to be sorted and distributed. Take that process, add the preparation of name badges and conference packets containing those items that are specifically for the registrant and you now get an idea of the scope of registration.
Take that entire process for each individual attendee and multiply it by over 500 and you can now see how immense this task really is.
The registration desk, manned by Ann’s husband Fred and Auxiliarist Rusty is then opened for 6 to 8 hours per day with cross checking and sign ins at a steady flow.
Our hats are off to this team of Ann, Fred and Rusty. Great job, we wouldn’t have a conference without you.
