Chicago, August 28.  The Auxiliary’s Senior Officer Course (ASOC) is a multi-session series of workshops for District Commodores, District Chiefs of Staff and senior appointed officers at the National level.  Designed by the USCG Leader Development Center and administered by the Auxiliary, the course has graduated the current senior leaders of our organization.

Since this is a multi-session course, conducting a training session at NACON is a natural.  The “students” will be at the conference for other important purposes and time has been set aside to conduct this session.

The lead facilitators for this session are Past National Commodore Gene Seibert and Past National Directorate Commodore Fred Gates.  They bring with them many years of leadership experience and are on board to share their knowledge and answer questions.

Graduates of ASOC have risen to the highest elected and appointed positions within the Auxiliary, including National Commodore.
