NACON 2009 – National Operating Committee (OPCOM)

Chicago, August 26.  The National Operating Committee is composed of the National Bridge, the Directorate Commodores and the various Department Chiefs.  The OPCOM meets in this type of session at least twice a year, at NTrain in January and here at NACON.

Each of the Department Chiefs submits their report to the National Chief of Staff and then has an opportunity to discuss their report in open forum.  Each presenter provides an opportunity for questions and answers.

This year each of the Department Chiefs laid out their goals, priorities and programs for the coming year.  These reports are reported in “closed door” format although Immediate Past National Commodore suggested that portions of their reports that can be made public should be included on their department’s web sites.
