St. Louis, January 25. Many manufacturers and service and product vendors support the Coast Guard Auxiliary Association and its programs. Some of these vendors are attending NTRAIN and are featuring their products on our "Vendor Midway." In addition, some of the "special" services of the Coast Guard and Auxiliary have set up booths for similar purpose.
Representatives are on hand to answer questions and demonstrate their products and/or services. The following represented the vendor’s products or services:
Mr. Richard Budar, III, President, Insurance Brokers International
Mr. Gregory Graves, Sales Manager Federal Agencies, Propper Products
Mr. Paul Schwen, Director, Marketing & Sales, Robotronics
Auxiliarist Harry Ota, District 13, on seeing "Coastie," the robot mascot boat, on display remarked, "We have to have one of these for our next District Conference." He jokingly added, "Where do I sign up?"

U.S. Coast Guard Commandant Admiral Thad W. Allen took time from a busy schedule to visit the CG Auxiliary National Marketing Group's life jacket exhibit at the Auxiliary National Training Conference just completed in St. Louis, MO. Shown with Admiral Allen is Marketing Special Events Coordinator Stu Soffer who designed and fabricated the exhibit which is enhanced by the Coast Guard Boating Safety Division's Wear Your Life Jacket backdrop.
