Subj: LETTER OF COMMENDATION

1. I note with pride and am pleased to commend you for your performance of duty while serving as Assistant, Public Affairs Training Branch from November 2006 to August 2008. Displaying excellent administrative skill and keen insight to Auxiliary member training programs, you developed comprehensive procedures to monitor and ensure that Auxiliarists who completed the AUX-12 Public Affairs and Marketing C-school accomplished their post-class assignments. You mentored more than 100 school graduates to help them properly complete, submit, and receive credit for their assignments. Exercising a remarkable affinity for teamwork, you made all associated AUXDATA entries for the students and ensured they all received their course completion certificates. Additionally, your service as an instructor for three of the AUX-12 C-schools directly contributed to the training of over 60 students, and helped fully prepare them to augment active duty public affairs program personnel.

2. You are commended for your outstanding performance of duty. By your meritorious service, you have upheld the highest traditions of the United States Coast Guard and the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary.

3. You are hereby authorized to wear the Auxiliary Commandant’s Letter of Commendation Ribbon Bar.
