Mr. LOWE is cited for outstanding achievement while serving as Executive Assistant to the National Commodore and as Director of Development for the Coast Guard Auxiliary Association, Inc. from November 2006 to August 2008. Demonstrating exemplary professionalism and reliability, Mr. LOWE provided invaluable behind-the-scenes leadership and direction in the successful conduct of dozens of Auxiliary conferences, seven National Executive Committee meetings, and countless program proposals. His extraordinary foresight and logistical expertise were instrumental to the timely and efficient coordination of the National Commodore’s activities, agendas, and presentation materials for two National Training Conferences and three National Conferences. Mr. LOWE adeptly provided essential executive service by ensuring invitations were distributed in a timely manner, reservations and transportation needs were arranged, established agendas and schedules were strictly followed, and ensured all room and facility arrangements were in order whenever the National Commodore served as presiding officer. Personifying the “Semper Paratus” spirit, he was always prepared to handle the myriad emergent requests for logistical and clerical support that characterized high-profile events. As Director of Development for the Coast Guard Auxiliary Association, Inc., Mr. LOWE was instrumental in the development of new revenue sources for the Association that yielded thousands of dollars in financial support to a diverse range of Auxiliary programs. Mr. LOWE’s dedication, judgment, and devotion to duty are most heartily commended and are in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Coast Guard and the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary.
