Thursday evening, September 27.  The International Search and Rescue (ISAR) competitions have been held on an annual basis since the year 2000.  The event took place in many locales across Canada and the United States.  It was inevitable that many new and lasting friendships were created among the competitors along the way.

The Thursday evening “Meet and Greet” gathering has become a tradition of the event and ISAR 2007 maintained that tradition.  Throughout the room the comments overheard included; “You look fabulous,” “you lost weight,” “how wonderful to see you again,” and “a year has gone by, where does the time go?”

All shared a delicious buffet of finger foods and sweets, some beverages and great conversation.

Then it was to bed, for the competitions start very early the next morning.
