“Yahoo Pod’ner” and “Hi Y’all” were the greetings of the evening.  Auxiliarists in all forms of western regalia, from gun toting cowboys to feathered Indians, packed the grand ballroom to celebrate fellowship in the Auxiliary.

As is customary at most Auxiliary conferences one night is set aside for attendees to dress up and let their hair down a bit.  Everyone, from the National Commodore to the newest Auxiliary member joined in the fun.  Fellowship ruled.

A “down home” band provided the music and, lo and behold, there were many Texas two-steppers filling the dance floor.

The food was excellent and was the only thing that could quiet down the group.  When the food was gone the noise level turned up five or six notches.  Singing and conversation filled the room.

A grand time was had by all.
