Coast Guard Association, Inc. in supporting and promoting the U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Boat Owners Association of the United States (Boat/US) have agreed to continue working together to encourage more boaters in the pleasure of boating, to enroll more students in safety education courses, inform boaters of the importance of getting a vessel safety check and to encourage active participation in the U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Coast Guard Auxiliary Association and Boat/US organization.

Specific benefits provided include:

• A 50% discount of Boat/US membership dues.
• A 10% discount on price of boat/US towing package
• Boat/US will continue to provide up to 50% of the cost to publish the “Beacon.”
• Boat/US will continue to support public education classes and vessel safety checks on the Boat/US Foundation “Courseline.”
• • Boat/US will provide complementary one year Boat/US membership to all public education course graduates and a complementary one year subscription to all public education course participants.
• Boat/US will continue to provide the "Best Flotilla in the Nation" award.
