Fellowship at N-TRAIN

“All work and no play” certainly applies to the Auxiliary. After a full day of meetings for some and training for most, getting together and sharing fellowship is a most welcome respite.

Saturday evening at N-TRAIN is traditionally set aside for the renewal of old friendships and the start of new ones. A few snacks and some cold libations are the backdrop for some lively discussions about the day’s events. New alliances are made; ideas and problems are shared, and promises to keep a line of communication open pepper the conversations.

“Wow, I sat in a few training sessions today and the students had a real passion for the subject matter,” said COMO Carol Urgola. “There was no head bobbing and disinterested faces, they were ‘in to it’ all the way,” she said.

“We are going in the right direction,” said one student. “I felt a sense of excitement in the classroom as new programs were unveiled today,” said another. “We have a lot of work in front of us, but my District is up to the job,”
