Commodore PERRONE is cited for outstanding achievement while serving as Assistant National Auxiliary Treasurer from 1 November 2002 to 31 October 2004. With utmost diligence and fiscal expertise, Commodore PERRONE maintained extremely accurate national accounting records and consistently generated detailed financial and performance statements for Auxiliary leadership that facilitated their program management and decision making. Employing his extensive professional background as a certified public accountant and his lengthy Auxiliary experience, Commodore PERRONE developed the Auxiliary’s annual budget proposals including anticipated income and essential expense projections for the efficient financial operation of all organizational elements. As the Auxiliary’s counterpart and liaison to the Auxiliary Association, Inc., he ensured the effective interplay of both entities. When it became necessary to tailor the Association’s fiscal year to better align with the revised tenure of Auxiliary National elected leadership, Commodore PERRONE worked ceaselessly to adjust respective budgets and record-keeping well in advance of the first new fiscal year and transparently effect the transition at all Auxiliary organizational levels. A tireless and insightful team player, he willingly availed himself at every opportunity to conduct extensive training with Auxiliary financial officers, significantly increasing their ability to accurately maintain their ledgers and produce monthly statements for their regional leaders. Commodore PERRONE’s dedication, judgment, and devotion to duty are most heartily commended and are in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Coast Guard and the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. |
