"The Auxiliary Commandant Letter of Commendation is the Auxiliary's
equivalent to the Coast Guard Commandant Letter of Commendation. Coast
Guard units and Directors can prepare Auxiliary award citations using
the same criteria, format, and style as the Coast Guard Commandant's
Letter of Commendation.
