Subj: AUXILIARY LETTER OF COMMENDATION

1. I note with pride and am pleased to commend you for your performance of duty while serving as Auxiliary “E-News” Branch Chief in the Department of Public Affairs from 1 February 2004 to 1 September 2004. Demonstrating outstanding leadership and technical skill, you superbly directed all aspects of graphic display and overall creation in order to ensure the successful launching of the new Auxiliary e-magazine, “E-News.” By so doing, you consolidated all new Auxiliary program developments into a single bi-weekly electronic publication. You adeptly supervised three branch assistants, identified and sorted all material, and consistently assembled it into an easy to read and attractive format. Through your unwavering effort, you published 12 editions of “E-News” within the first seven months and reported on over 150 different topics. Your diligence and commitment were instrumental in making this new Auxiliary e-magazine a premier web-based periodical.

2. You are commended for your outstanding performance of duty. By your meritorious service you have upheld the highest traditions of the United States Coast Guard and the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary.

3. You are hereby authorized to wear the Auxiliary Commandant’s Letter of Commendation Ribbon Bar.
