NACON 2004
4 September 2004 From: Commandant Subj; AUXILIARY LETTER OF COMMENDATION 1. I note with pride and am pleased to commend you for your performance of duty while serving as Webmaster for the Auxiliary International Affairs Directorate from 1 June 2003 to 1 September 2004. Exhibiting outstanding technical skill, you redesigned the directorate web site to include markedly improved graphics and more efficient use of available space. With keen insight and consideration for many web site customers who have limited internet accessibility in terms of bandwidth, you constructed the web site so as to limit downloadable graphics, reduce processing times, and draw upon many different browsers. Your conscientious maintenance of the web site included provision of space for the posting of newsletters and articles from many foreign nations. Through remarkable diligence, attention to detail, and cooperative team spirit, you significantly raised the profile of the directorate web site and earned it a well-deserved reputation as the premier site for high quality comprehensive search and rescue articles and information. 2. You are commended for your outstanding performance of duty. By your meritorious service you have upheld the highest traditions of the United States Coast Guard and the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. 3. You are hereby authorized to wear the Auxiliary Commandant’s Letter of Commendation Ribbon Bar. For the Commandant,
