for services set forth in the following CITATION: “For exceptionally meritorious service from January 1999 to September 2004 while serving as a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary National Commodore’s Staff Conference Support Element, Reservation and Registration Team. Exhibiting superb planning and preparation skills along with exceptional technical expertise, Team members devoted thousands of hours to the coordination of attendee registrations, meals and seating arrangements for five National Conferences. The Team maintained, repaired, upgraded, and transported their own computing equipment across the nation to provide convenient registration services by mail, internet, and in-person at each conference. Reflecting exemplary Team Coast Guard spirit, hundreds of Coast Guard active duty, reserve and civilian personnel were dependably helped by the Team’s on-the-spot ability to address and accommodate any lodging or meal concerns. Through the Team’s determined efforts, thousands of conference attendees, including representatives from other federal and state agencies and foreign nations, enjoyed a comfortable atmosphere that maximized the value of each National Conference’s learning and information sharing opportunities.
