NACON 2004
Mr. PULVE is cited for outstanding achievement while serving as Pacific Area Coordinator for the National Legislative Liaison Committee from October 2002 to September 2004. Demonstrating superior administrative and organizational skill, Mr. PULVE expertly managed Auxiliary State Legislative Liaison Officers for four Coast Guard Districts and 11 states. In consistently professional fashion, he developed these officers into a cohesive and vibrant force to monitor, assess, and advocate beneficial recreational boating safety legislation. With deep personal conviction, Mr. PULVE inspired these officers to strive for maximum engagement with governmental and other agency counterparts. As a direct result of his unflagging leadership and enthusiasm, the Auxiliary State Legislative Liaison Officers were frequently recognized by governmental and private organizations at all levels including the National Transportation Safety Board, National Boating Federation, and National Marine Manufacturers Association for their outstanding support. Mr. PULVE’s dedication, judgment, and devotion to duty are most heartily commended and are in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Coast Guard and the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary.
