for services set forth in the following CITATION: “For exceptionally meritorious service from January 2003 to January 2004 while serving as a member of the National “C” School Instructor Cadre. The Instructor Cadre spent countless hours during this period meticulously and professionally executing thirty Auxiliary National “C” Schools. Their adept logistics coordination and attention to class planning detail enabled over 340 Auxiliarists to be trained to be more effective volunteer program participants and coordinators. The Instructor Cadre continuously updated curriculum within their respective areas of expertise including leadership, aids to navigation, public affairs, database management, and recruiting accessions. They established and maintained high level learning standards, incorporated student assessment tools, and provided each class with high quality training materials. The Instructor Cadre generously volunteered and devoted their time to successfully train active duty as well as Coast Guard Auxiliary personnel and traveled extensively across the United States to deliver training at the convenience of their audiences. As a result of the Instructor Cadre’s dedication to Coast Guard Auxiliary training, National “C” School delivery has become a cornerstone of member training success for the Auxiliary. The dedication, pride, and professionalism displayed by the Coast Guard Auxiliary National “C” School Instructor Cadre are in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Coast Guard and the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary.” For the Commandant, |
