CITATION:

“For exceptionally meritorious service from January 1992 to September 2004 while serving as a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary National Commodore’s Staff Conference Support Element, Audio-Visual Team. Exhibiting superb planning and preparation skills along with exceptional technological expertise, Team members devoted thousands of hours over more than a decade providing audio-visual support to thirteen National Conferences, ten National Training Conferences and countless national training schools. The Team reliably stored, repaired, maintained, upgraded, and transported Coast Guard and Coast Guard Auxiliary audio-visual equipment across the nation. Team members consistently demonstrated remarkable flexibility in setting up or converting presentation rooms for formal ceremonies, events, and even week-long business and training activities. Reflecting exemplary Team Coast Guard spirit, many Coast Guard active duty, reserve and civilian personnel were dependably helped by the Team’s on-the-spot ability to adjust and deliver high-quality audio-visual support. Through the Team’s determined efforts, tens of thousands of conference and event attendees, including representatives from other federal and state agencies and foreign nations, learned and enjoyed materials pertinent to every Coast Guard Auxiliary program. The dedication, pride, and professionalism displayed by the Coast Guard Auxiliary National Commodore’s Staff Conference Support Element, Audio-Visual Team are in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Coast Guard and the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary.”
