Saturday, September 27. The competitions are over and the last score has been registered. “All good things must come to an end,” said Captain David Hill, Chief Director, USCG Auxiliary. “You made all of us proud, there will be winners but there won’t be any losers,” said USCG Auxiliary National Commodore Bill Edgerton. In his closing remarks, Commissioner of the Canadian Coast Guard, John Adams said, “What a competition! Again, like every year, I am more than impressed by the level of skill and talent that has been shown by the members of the United States and Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliaries. The hard work, cooperation, and teamwork demonstrated in the ISAR competitions, represents the important values that make the Auxiliaries successful in their services.” The Commissioner concluded, “To the participants, every single one of you are winners because of the professional volunteer service you provide to your fellow North Americans. Your service has touched so many lives directly and indirectly. That is the biggest trophy. Thank you for your untiring dedication and commitment to maritime safety. Congratulations to all of you on your first-rate performance this weekend.” With those words, the games drew to a close. With solemn dignity all
